Dr Gero Kollmer

Dr Gero Kollmer advises on M&A, corporate law and real estate law, with a particular focus on German law and German transactions. His work includes, in particular, company acquisitions and disposals, participation transactions, corporate structuring and real estate transactions. He has particular experience in the legal implementation of share and asset deals, transaction structures, shareholders’ agreements, forward structures, as well as financing and security documentation. In addition, he advises on fund-related structures, particularly in the area of PE/VC and real estate funds.

He advises AIF management companies, fund managers, family offices, institutional investors and companies on complex transactions and structured investments under German law. His areas of work include the acquisition and disposal of corporate participations, real estate and real estate portfolios, as well as the legal support of the related corporate and transaction documentation. By combining M&A, corporate law, real estate law and fund practice, Dr Kollmer supports clients from structuring through to the execution of the transaction and its legal implementation in the market.
